My regards to my readers!

I greatly delight in the popularity of this blog, and hearing that people find it (and the things on my bombaxo website) useful. I appreciate all the comments and the links and all of the email I’ve received from all of you.

Looking through my statistics for July, I was amazed to see the variety of places that people are checking in from. Below is the list of countries of my readers coming from everthing outside of .com and .edu addresses, in descending order of the number of addresses from each.

Thank you all for reading! Send me a message sometime, if you haven’t already!

  1. Kevin,

No, no – thank you. While a writer without readers can be tragic, readers without a writer is even more so.

  2. Ah, how wonderful! Your writing most certainly deserves such wide readership.

I do protest, however, against the exclusion of Puerto Rico from the list, simply because we happen to mostly have .com and .edu addresses here! 😉

  3. Thanks so much! The .com and .edu thing does take some of the fun out of it.

I’m now intensely curious about all these people from so many different places. What do they do? What led them here? How can I help better? And in the end I’m amazed that this kind of communication is even possible.

Glory to God, who has made creatures who can do such things!

  4. I am in NYC. Many of the locations could be due to where readers’ network servers are. My last company had their main bank in Los Angeles, though I was based in Manhattan. Depending on how a person accesses the internet, their ‘location’ could be just about anywhere on planet earth as far as ‘analytics’ are concerned.
