This evening as I was taking out some trash, I noticed what looked like a piece of old ivy vine stuck on the side of the garage so I reached for it AND IT MOVED. It was an honest to goodness stick insect. Here are two pictures of it. I had never met one before.

The Salvation of Space

Nothing theological or having to do with space travel, I am sorry to say. I was simply amazed by the result of one of my projects today in preparation for moving. In the picture, the contents of the two standing columns (72 inches worth) of jewel cases is a mere 8 inches. I should’ve done that years ago!
