The Coptic Lectionary
This Coptic lectionary is still in progress. The source data
is incomplete (two
articles from the archives of CoptNet
"Focus on the Family," a
general introduction to the Coptic lectionary system, and a series of files
covering the readings
for many days in each of the Coptic calendar's months;
also the very handy Coptic Calendar, published by C.O.P.T., the
Coptic Orthodox Publishing and Translation). Missing are some of the standard
pericope sections, and all of the
"Prophecies" (the Old Testament
readings read every weekday during Lent). As I come by these, I will insert
them.
Missing information in the table below is indicated by a grey background
in that box. Please also note that the Psalm
citations are from the two mixed
sources, one of which uses a psalm numbering corresponding to the Septuagint
tradition, the other to the Hebrew/English tradition. I will also (eventually)
straighten these out.
